As your next Republican Congresswoman representing the great State of Texas and CD-25 in Washington D.C., I will work with my constituents to recapture our exceptional America! As a proven leader in Municipal government, the government closest to the people, I had the awesome responsibility as Mayor to bring transparent, accountable governance.

By maintaining a balanced budget our citizens were ensured that they could expect of their city government the same basic processes that we are all required to follow in our own businesses and households. When sent to Washington I will demand that the overspending be put to an end, that there be caps on our spending, supporting a sustainable fiscal path. I will vehemently defend a constitutional amendment of balancing the budget.

I bring pro life/pro family values, a strong work ethic and the necessary skill set to build consensus when making difficult decisions. I will never take the path of least resistance. With empowerment of the people of Texas and of the United States I will unashamedly fight for the people I serve. I am the right choice at the right time for the right reasons – we deserve stouthearted leadership that can make a decision based on the will of the constituents it serves and hold steadfast to that decision.

This is not a time for weak leadership. Leadership is a decision not a destiny. Washington will know when Congresswoman Dianne Costa has arrived. I will not be bullied, intimidated or discarded. It is imperative that we take control of the Presidency, the Senate and strengthen the House of Representatives not just in numbers but in the quality of leaders we send to D.C.
